Welcome to the home page of the American Osteopathic Conjoint Sports Medicine Education and Evaluation Committee.
We are responsible for the inspection of, the certification of and the monitoring of the Osteopathic Sports Medicine Residency/Fellowship Programs.
This includes but is not limited to:
•establishing the Basic Standards for the Osteopathic Sports Medicine Residency/Fellowship Programs
•providing guidance to an osteopathic physician wishing to obtain Certification of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine
•verifying a physician's completion of a Sports Medicine Residency/Fellowship Program
•moderating a Sports Medicine Program Director's Workshop annually
•moderating a Sports Medicine Program Inspector's Workshop every two (2) years
